Low chemical use pest control. We do not use live catch traps.
Greenway Integrated Pest Management Ltd believes in low chemical use pest control, but we do not use live catch traps. Live catch traps are not humane when a rodent is translocated to an unfamiliar area. That rodent will not know its surroundings and will have to compete with any pre-existing rodent population for resources.
This can lead to greater suffering for the animal than if it were killed outright by well placed, appropriately sized traps. We will only use poison as a last resort and will always follow the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) code of best practice. There is a time and a place for destructive pest control and rodents in the home is one of those times. However, we will always advise you as for how to best stop the problem reoccurring and can carry out any proofing work needed.
If rodents are not attracted to and cannot gain access to your property you will probably find that you won't have a rodent issue again in the future. In addition to rodent extermination, we also provide bird and insect control services for both domestic and commercial customers.
